Guitare manouche
Il est reconnu internationalement comme un grand guitariste manouche. Il a suivi les cours de Pierre Cullaz à Paris, ce qu'il a mis en contact avec le jazz manouche au célèbre café "La Chope des Puces", la scène de Django Reinhardt.
1999, Babick Reinhardt rencontre Samy au Festival Django Reinhardt de Samois, et l'intègre à sa formation avec Christian Escoudé et Florin Niculescu. 2004 sortie d'un CD chez Cristal Records avec David et Noé Reinhardt. 2007 Samy accompagne Tchavolo Schmitt en Europe et au Japon.
Il publie cette année là, 2 méthodes de guitare manouche avec Angello Debarre aux Editions "Coup de Pouce".
